I've been a regular client of Sam's for a year or so and have only had great experiences with her work. Sam does an amazing job cutting my hair in a very precise and consistent manner so that it performs well for vintage hair styling. This is a complicated cut, and she's up on all of the latest techniques AND the vintage techniques I need to pull off this look. (I am a dancer and often style it using pin curls, heat sets, and marcel waves, so I have a modified long middy cut.) Sam is professional and works hard to make my haircut and style perfect every time. I have a ton of hair, but it's really fine and wavy, so this is no small feat. She has always been punctual to my appointment, friendly, and professional. I would feel comfortable referring anybody to Sam, but especially those who are looking for that perfect, elusive pin up look. Sam's prices for cuts are crazy reasonable and I would not expect to get a comparable one at that price elsewhere on the peninsula.
My son ( 3 ) was in need of a cool big boy hair cut (not by mom). I am a hair stylist of 13 years ( worked at the most high end salons in town) so I know good when I see it. I wanted to get my lil man a great fade. So where else to go but a old school barber . My son has supper straight Caucasian hair and the barber gave him a great fade no spots no marks or weard lines. And he was so nice to him. We will be back again and again. Thank you so much highly recommended
This is our second time here and there's reasons why we are back! My brother wanted to get a design and after researching different places and asking for opinions, the hair company seemed like the route to take! No disappointments! Though there is not an attendant in the front, walking in still feels inviting and chill. The sports channel is constantly playing so I get my dose of the Giants game! While waiting for my brother to finish up, a gentleman offered me watermelon! I could not pass up the offer and boy they were NOT stingy! A great snack while waiting! My brothers haircut was on point! He loved it and it was exactly what he wanted. A regular basic trim and a design of a heart beat! Such an AFFORDABLE price for a job EXCEEDING expectations!
