I love getting my hair done at GoodFolk! First, it’s worth mentioning that this salon is in such a cute part of Seal Beach. It’s a great area to get lunch or coffee afterward.I always feel welcome here, and everyone I’ve interacted with has been so friendly! I have been lucky to work with both Kim and Claire. They are amazing! I am so glad that I started going back to the salon after the pandemic.Here’s a picture after my cut + color visit with Kim today. This was taken after I walked around in the wind for a while. :) I love how the color blends in naturally with the rest of my hair. Ugh, I really want to gate-keep Steven R. but what person would I be to deprive the world of his art and talent. As someone who was never interested in hair health I didn't know what I was missing out on. Sure, I've read articles and watched videos on how to care for my hair but, as expected, seeing Steven in person has given me way more peace of mind. He asks all the right questions to better help me get to where I want my hair and in turn also answers my questions with knowledge and confidence. I could go on about his service but you just need to experience it first hand. Also, this Salon is beautiful and kudos to the owner and others who make this place feel so home-y.

When my families stylist of almost a decade moved, we were on the hunt for a new salon, which is hard to find quality.I obviously want the best and both of my boys do acting so they have to have a quality haircut. I think we may have found our new salon here.My older son who has slightly longer hair and a very particular style tried out Lauren and was super happy with his cut.Everyone was very nice and in comparison, their prices are reasonable.
