I reviewed online lots of wedding stylist and came upon pictures and reviews of Nancy at Salon V. I decided this was the place for me! Not only was Nancy relaxed and capable but her artistry soon became apparent. She took a look at my hair and assessed what it would do and what it wouldn't and proceeded. Not only was I put at ease instead if the usual hurry scurrying around but it turned out a wonderfully fun relaxed time. I was going to wear a fascinator(a British hat that you wear to the side) oftentimes seen at Ascot and other British events. The hat had lively swoops and feathers that she duplicated in the hairstyle...it turned out elegantly and classic...just what I wanted! Not only that she is the sweetest person ever! So, if you are looking for a stylist for a special occasion Nancy will not disappoint and will execute a perfect style for you! Couldn't have been more pleased! Thank you so much Nancy!!!

This was my first time going to Salon V. Nancy was wonderful. She highlighted and cut my hair just like I requested and it turned out beautifully. She was easy to talk to and very nice. I give the experience a 5. I was a bit upset that the sign on the door said masks required and Covid precautions in place. In reality me, my stylist Nancy, and only one other person were wearing masks. There were many workers and clients within 6 feet of each other not wearing masks in an indoor setting. Please actually follow guidelines or take your signs down. If I weren't fully vaccinated I would have said something while I was there.

I can't believe I'm only remembering to review this salon right now! I was in town for a wedding and really wanted a blow out. I was messaging with Amanda (the owner) who was out of town for her anniversary that weekend but still took the time to set us up with one of her hair stylists to actually open up the salon just for us! I had never even met her or even been to Solvang before. Nancy (our hairstylist) doesn't even usually work on Sunday's, had never met us, had no connection to us, and STILL opened to help us out and did an amazing job!!! I absolutely loved my hair and Nancy was the sweetest. She was patient and easy to talk to. I would recommend this place over and over-adorable spot and incomparable customer service.
