Shahim at legal aid was absolutely amazing, he helped me with all of my legal issues in one swoop! I dont understand anything about taxes or any of that stuff , and shahim explained everything to me in a way that i could really understand. Thank you Shahim and thank you legal aid San Diego, its organizations and people like you that make the world a better place!!!

I am so grateful for what the LASSD has done for me. I am an old man and the Defendant up against a landlord that was outta line. False accusations, threats, and worse. Allysa M helped me, and appeared on my behalf in court. Brilliant. I don't know what else to say. I said 3 words(*see below), Allysa did everything, and before I knew what happened the Judge said "this court finds for the Defendant". BAM! Case closed. Thank you so much Allysa M. and LASSD MM * I accidentally spoke up outta turn in court, saying "that's a lie". Yeah,.. not smart. The judges words will ring forever: "You Don't Want To Snatch Defeat From The Mouth Of Victory, Do You?". Rule #1 STFU!

My mother had a legal issue concerning a predatory lender and unlawful contract with elder financial abuse. They were aggressive and adroit barristers on top of their game legally evening the playing field against the well paid mercenaries hired by the lender who weren't below what I consider dirty tricks souless bastards that they are. I found them to be outstanding consumer advocates and have nothing but admiration for their dedication for those who otherwise would have no legal assistance.
