A's Alterations is a reliable and friendly establishment, offering good work at reasonable prices. The owner, an experienced and honest elder lady, provides excellent service, including emergency suit alterations, with a patient and accommodating approach. Note that they operate on a cash-only basis, but customers find it well worth it.
I’ve gone to this lady for many many years for alterations that I wasn’t able to do myself. She’s excellent she’s very professional and friendly but most of all she’s an excellent alteration person and I’d recommend her highly.
The sweetest little lady ever! Definitely going to adopt her as my new Grandma!! My wife had a few things that required altering and after a quick search on Yelp we decided to stop by. As you walk in, be aware that you may not notice her working in the back and she may not see you either. I just stuck my head around the corner, smiled and waved. She smiled back, jumped up and came right out to help us. Be aware her accent is a little difficult to understand but not an issue. Just bring a little patience, she is very nice and her work is worth it!! My wife tried her clothes on so "my new G-ma" could see what needed to be done. She worked quickly and was done fitting everything in no time. We needed a few of our clothes done kinda quickly for an event we were attending. I asked if she could have them done in time...."oh yes" she replied with a smile. I stopped by on our pick up day to grab the few things that we absolutely needed and the best part, not only were the rush items done but all of our alterations were done!! Everything looked great!! She even added a closure to one of my wife's outfits just to be sure it didn't open unexpectedly. Excellent work, above and beyond today's expectations... The bill was next to nothing, and I insisted on leaving her a "tip"....she was very appreciative!! The service, attention to detail and care was amazing. We have found our alteration shop in the SCV!! Please remember to bring a little patience and I'm sure you'll have a positive experience just as we did!! Thanks for reading my review.
Hello my name is Alvaro, I went in to ask for a pricing for a shirt to sew, I bought a shirt months ago and it had a hole so I really valued the shirt I got it at a special place and the place was 3 hours away from where I live. Martha is so nice and sweet she is efficient and what she does. She is good with pricing she is respectful and have a wonderful attitude. This place is amazing and I will for sure be going to here when I need things to be taken care of. The shirt has very good memories behind it, the shirt means a lot to me and I thank Martha for providing her amazing service.
