All you need to know: Book with JOHN :) My sister has been raving about John ever since she got her hair cut by him a few years ago. I finally booked an appointment with him for a new look for Lunar New Year 2024. I decided to finally chop off my long locks that I've had since I was a teenager. During the consult, he made sure that I actually wanted to do this and warned me that it's going to be a huge change which I acknowledged and said I was ready for. I greatly appreciated that he gave me the chance to change my mind and took the time to show me different lengths before cutting it while looking at my inspo photos and giving his thoughts on what would look best for my current hair (I had side swept bangs that were shorter than the inspos) & that it would be better to not cut it so short the first time cause he can always cut off more but he can't put it back. I liked how he went into detail of his cut and what he plans to do. For example he said although my bangs weren't long enough to mimic the inspo, he would still cut and layer them just a bit to complement the cut. He made the first chop so fun! He let me hold it to say bye so I could take a pic & he was just as excited for me as I was when I saw that I actually loved my hair already just from that first chop! His energy was so sweet and it felt so nice that someone else was excited for this change. After the initial chop, he packed my hair away so I could donate it & another lady led me to wash my hair which was fantastic. Afterwards both of them dried my hair together and he went on to work his magic. I absolutely loved my hair! John was so positive and encouraging to say how much it suited me and never rushed me to leave my seat or the salon and allowed me to take photos and enjoy the moment. After 3 months from that appointment (2/6/24), I wanted to go shorter :) plus, the length it had grown to made it quite difficult to style how I wanted & to make it last all day (flipped inward) so I wanted to cut it shorter so that it would grow to the length I preferred when I travel to Europe this summer. This experience was even better than the last time! We were all so elated with how cute the shorter hair turned out! Even the kind lady who washed my hair came and said it was so cute and how short hair looks so good on me before she helped John with drying my hair. John was very meticulous with this cut. I could tell he did a lot more layering and even after his first styling, he'd notice some areas needed to be cut or shaved etc to be even and would stop and fix them. The way he dried my hair as well was helpful to see, a great technique. I couldn't believe how happy one hair salon appointment could make me! Another great thing about John's haircuts is that it grows back beautifully! And he cuts it in a way that I'm able to style it myself however I'd like. The hair growing back so nicely is really hard to find in a hairdresser. My hair was still so pretty before I went even shorter. Nothing was in an awkward stage or not flowing well so I really could've just kept it at that and been happy. Pricing: My first cut from long to short was $35. My second cut to shorter hair with much more layering and shaving my baby hair off and then more layering was $45 which is a great price for all of the work he did including the styling afterwards too. 10/10 experience with John & I'm a forever customer. Thank you John for being the best!

I always get compliments on my hair even on the worst of days….thanks to my hairstylist John. He knows my hair well and will give me honest opinions on what to do. The cut and highlights that he gives me are always fresh, lightweight, and hides my greys well.

I really was in need for a haircut before the new year and saw good reviews so I wanted to try it out and let me say I was not disappointed! I called for a walk in hair cut and they made me an appointment within the hour! When I walked in I was greeted and was sat with Linda immediately. Linda was AMAZING, she talked to me about the haircut I wanted, I showed her some inspo pictures and she gave her own suggestions and started instantly. She was very easy to talk to and consistently making sure I was happy with how she was cutting/styling my hair. It went by very quick and I was obsessed with how my haircut turned out, it was exactly what I wanted and even better than I expected. The price was very reasonable and I will definitely be coming back and would definitely recommend to anyone to come here.
