Surprisingly accessible for newer players. While some holes demand accuracy, there’s enough room off the tee for beginners to enjoy the challenge. Plus, the largest putting green in the county is a fantastic bonus. Practice facilities are top-notch. Good pace most days, though weekends can drag. Affordable and convenient, especially if you're near Anaheim or Disneyland.

Had a great time and course was in pretty good shape. Only issue was speed of play. Took us 5.5 hours to finish. I wish the Marshal would have enforced the pace by removing people who just aren’t ready for a full size course or having people play through. If a group of four is all beginners and hitting 10 or more shots each hole it’s not as much fun and you lose your rhythm. It’s not as easy course, so if you are just getting started I would not play here. I would play this course again, narrows fairways and the sandy ravine can be brutal on your clubs if you play it as it lies, but I would definitely play again and had some really nice holes and challenges.

I love this place and especially my Coach, Robert Stevens. I’m a brand new golfer and I’m old so this was kinda scary for me. Coach S is a kind and reassuring teacher ! Also the grounds are beautiful and everyone that works there is beyond nice. The clubhouse restaurant has the best food ! I kid you not. Their hot dogs are worth the visit even if you don’t play golf! lol. I live in the Newport Beach area and I can play wherever I choose. This place feels like home to me. Great golf, no phonies and fabulous atmosphere I’ll be there tomorrow !!! Yay
