Great little shop. Don’t let it’s size fool you. Great collection of independent artists and puck rock bands. Owen can special order special limited release vinyl records such as Taylor Swifts like what he did for my daughter. If you can’t come to the shop, check out their online shop. Owen hosts listening parties at the Frieda in Santa Ana for fans.

A great find! Was in the area and had a few minutes to explore while waiting for family and found Resident Vinyl. So happy I did. This isn’t your average vinyl shop, it is a carefully curated collection of really, really good music. The selection is limited, but you can feel how purposeful that is as you hang with the owner/operator who could not be any more friendly and engaging. Prices are great and he even shipped my purchases back home for me for free. I highly, highly recommend. Great web store as well for those not lucky enough to get to drop in… This will be my go-to vinyl shop from now on!

I like visiting different record stores, and happen to be near Resident Vinyl today. It was a bit confusing finding the location at first, but I parked at CVS and eventually found my way (it's basically behind CVS...just follow the pathway). As the name suggests, it's located within residential buildings. The bottom portion is the store and I believe the top area would be where occupants reside. It's a small and cozy shop, and the owner was welcoming. They had a good selection of vinyls, and I even saw some that I usually can't find at other record stores!
