A no frills, gets the job done well local hair salon! I came with medium-long super dead end, dried out color treated Asian hair. My goal was to chop off all the dead inches, make my head feel lighter, have bangs again, and be at a local place that accepts credit card/Zelle. I saw this salon originally on Yelp, called them up and got in same day with the owner Kathy.
She speaks English too but it’s always good to have a reference photos for cut or colors so there’s less worry of misunderstandings.

Kathy literally saved my hair! Story time! When I first started going to Kathy, (now, 6+ years ago) my hair almost literally felt like straw, thanks to years of box dying multiple times a month. Completely fried. Kathy made me promise never to touch box dye again and over these past years, she's helped me on my journey to nurse my hair and scalp back to health.

For the first time in well over a decade, my hair finally shines and it's SOFT!!

Not only does she know what she's doing, but she's always bubbly and sweet every time we go in to see her. Both hubby and MIL go to Kathy too - equally happy with her work.

I don't write reviews often, but I'm compelled to share my experience. I finally followed through on a referral & am kicking myself for procrastinating, dragging my feet. At a minimum, I needed a hair cut but was contemplating about getting a body wave as well. Since a cut is the 1st step, once Kathy was "done", I was so pleased that I seriously considered stopping right at that point. I mean, that's how happy I was. Nonetheless, I did end up getting a body wave and really appreciate Kathy explaining the process throughout. For me, I find her taking the time to explain things as being genuinely invested in her clients and wanting them to become informed & providing tips and things here and there along the way for the benefit of the client. I had never experienced this and found it refreshing. I honestly have no complaints & would highly recommend.
