Sarah did hair and makeup for me, my wife, our mothers and entire bridal party. She was phenomenal to work with and we recommend her to anyone! We both felt super comfortable and loved how we looked for our wedding! I felt like she totally understood our vision and made it happen. I’ve never gotten so many compliments on my hair!!
Sarah Hyde is amazing! She did my wedding makeup and hair (which I booked on very short notice after my trial makeup with another specialized company left me feeling matt, flat, and overdone). Sarah was calm and sweet as can be. Her taste and eye are unerring. The makeup she puts on you lasts for hours and through different looks, yet it looks fresh and youthful. I can't say enough good things about Sarah. And, she is well known and appreciated in the wedding industry, though she stays mostly local and low-key.We are lucky to have her here in Marin. She is the absolute BEST. Tasteful. Kind. Punctual. Reliable. Calm. And beautiful inside and outside herself!
I found this stylist through a Groupon ad. I was a little wary of going to a hidden shop in Marin rather than a well-known salon in SF. I was apprehensive when I first met her, but I quickly got a sense of Sarah's expertise once she began talking about products & looking at my hair. I have dark brown hair with a few (traumatic) grays and a lot of brassy red. She turned it into a shimmering, rich, deep mahogany -no red but still warm enough to reflect light and shine brilliantly. I noted all the products she used. This is expert, quality care that parallels anything done at the top salons, but for discounted rates (I'm somewhat high-maintenance and not so easy to please, as you can tell from other reviews..) The relaxed salon in Marin was a pleasant respite after dealing with the usual stresses associated with high-end San Francisco (no parking, crowded, expense, etc..).
