“Being on Medi-Cal and Denti-Cal in Marin County can be challenging. The barriers to accessing quality care are very real for a lot of us. I've unfortunately neglected some routine dental work for a few years now, and it got to a point where I knew I needed to see a dentist ASAP. I got into Marin Community Clinic in under a week for an emergency appointment. The staff was kind and patient, allowing my fiancé to be in the room with me (other than during the x-ray portion) of the exam. The dental assistant, Leticia, and Dr. Cubas had excellent bedside manners. Dr. Cubas accurately diagnosed and explained what was happening to me. She was kind, compassionate, and not at all judgmental. We came up with a treatment plan that left me confident about the next steps. I'm grateful their clinic is there for dental emergencies.”
