I found Karen and Simply Music 4 years ago after I retired. I'd always wanted to be able to play the piano, and retirement offered me the time to pursue that. I can't believe how much I've learned in these 4 years. Karen is fun, patient, creative, supportive, and knowledge. And the Simply Music methodology is fantastic! I started my piano lesson with Karen in early 2016, at that time my daughter was in college and I finally had some free time to do something I always wanted to do: Play Piano! I enrolled in Karen's introductory sessions and I LOVED it, from jazz, blues to classic, simply music offered me an amazing way to explore the music world. Practicing piano at the end of a busy day has been an enjoying and relaxing moment for me, from Karen's class, I learned not only what to play, but also how to play, and add your stories and feelings to the play. Although I have always wanted to play the piano, I started and stopped lessons twice before finding Karen and Simply Music. The system itself is great, but Karen makes coming so much fun. She knows (and loves) music and is very supportive no matter what level you are.
