I have been to this Asian massage place for years. Judy sits in the front who is always warm and welcoming, and the female masseuses like YoYo Laura, along with male therapists Tom, Jason, and Ken are absolutely amazing. Once you get to know them, even though their English isn’t perfect, they’re really helpful, and they pay close attention to your needs. They really get to know your body, and they’ve helped me so much with my sports injuries.
I get massages very regularly due to scoliosis, even small things like luggage or sitting too long can throw my back off, so I’m extremely particular about technique.
CASSIE at Golden Island gave one of the best deep tissue massages I’ve ever had. Her pressure was precise, intentional, and actually therapeutic, not just “deep.” She identified problem areas quickly and worked through them in a way that created real relief.
