My dog has gone to nearly every specialist at GGVS and they all have provided exceptional care. Dr. Farese has performed multiple surgeries on my boy Blue and I cannot imagine going anywhere else. Top to bottom, GGVS, provides quality care for pets and their parents alike.
This practice is very close to our home. Dr. Ruppel is a good veterinary specialist, knowledgeable and confident during our first visit. However, our small dog needs Chem (11) CBC lab tests every two months. After the first exam and back home, we received estimates for an ultrasound and lab tests but nothing for the important Chem (11) CBC. After three weeks, February 13, 2025, we called and requested an estimate for the Chem (11) CBC. A staffer replied that she will leave a note for Dr. Ruppel's department and that someone will get back to us. As of today, March 14, we have not received an answer. Dr Eckholm is the best. I drive all the way from San Lorenzo and they are worth it. I have been taking my girl here for about a year and I wish I found them sooner. Everyone here is so kind and helpful. Dr Eckholm has gone above and beyond with helping me get my pitbulls allergies under control. The waitlist is long but it is well worth it. And once you're in they are so responsive even with emails and always there to help. I appreciate everyone at golden gate. And I highly recommend them.
