5 stars for quality of work. This was a more complicated roof replacement that also involved wood rot and porch repair from prior roof leak. Really happy with outcome. Deducted one star because it took them a while to get started. We were supposed to replace the roof in October but it was first delayed because of scheduling conflicts, and then because of rain. Apollo did put a tarp in the roof before the rain storms though to prevent further damage. All in all, I recommend Apollo.
I'd recommend anyone to get their roof done by Apollo. They are honorable people. It was a challenging time for us as we were told our insurance was going to be cancelled because we had a cedar shake roof and we live in Los Gatos where there is more fire risk. Guy came and suggested this cement tile that looks very much like cedar shake and has an A fire rating. I had researched for months looking at everything on the internet about products that looked like Cedar shake. We have a French Tudor style house and all the options and sample we were sent looked nothing like Cedar shake. Guy's suggestion looks amazing on our house. We had a great experience with Apollo roofing. I researched and then had 3 companies come in for quotes for our roof. Benjamin gave a great, very detailed presentation with lots of materials and warranties and we felt we were in good hands with his company. They weren’t the cheapest but they weren’t the most expensive either. The team were polite and conscientious and fixed the surprise issues along the way like dry rot and gutter mesh. There are some big rains coming and I’m happy the new roof is on and we will stay dry!
