Rachel is amazing. Piercing and glasses girlies, this is your girl! She listened to me and didn’t hurt my piercings like so many other stylists have! My hair looks amazing, and she didn’t just cut on what feels like a prescribed formula, but she dry cut my natural texture after listening to my concerns and observing how past cuts made my hair look and feel. She went in after the color/toner to clean up the cut and offered to change anything but her skills are evident because I didn’t want to change anything. I’m new to the area and so happy I found the lovely Avanza Salon! I was in great hands with Maria (who I would super recommend!!) and she was able to give me some guidance in the cut I wanted and did a fantastic job. She really took her time to make sure I was happy with the result, which goes such a long way. If you’re looking for a new salon, this is the place!

I don’t know why this place doesn’t have more reviews—it’s such a hidden gem! The salon is clean, cozy, and really welcoming. I went in for a haircut for the first time and everyone was super friendly. Maria did my haircut and she was so sweet, checking with me at every step to make sure it was just how I wanted. Great service, affordable prices—I’ll definitely be coming back!
