Booking the event is a seamless process, with the staff being very punctual in answering questions and accommodating any changes. The space is quite spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful aesthetic featuring pink walls, shelves filled with ceramics, and plenty of plants. The bar area is a highlight, which can be utilized as a dessert station or mimosa bar. Guests have consistently praised the venue's aesthetic and the ample space, with one host noting it's perfect for a small party of 20-25 people. The staff has also been described as friendly and accommodating, going the extra mile to ensure a memorable event. We and our guests loved the space. We hosted baby shower for 25ish people (adults, kid, ADA accessibility needs). The space had so much natural light, greens, tall ceiling that it added the elegant vibe and character to our event. We had to do minimal decor due to this - which was perfect! Could also get additional time when we didn’t want to stop our party!
Hosted a surprise engagement party here for my fiancee and we loved the space! Booking the event was seamless & Sammy was very punctual with answering all of my questions leading up to the date. She was also forthcoming about an accidental overbooking (calendars didn't sync so the overlap of our party with another event was initially missed) that was caught a few weeks prior to the date and offered a partial discount to move the time of the event back vs reschedule for another day. Everyone who attended loved the shop's aesthetic and the room was quite spacious & comfortable (30-40 guests). Would definitely recommend The Preserve to anyone who is looking to host a future event! I hosted my birthday party here and have nothing but good things to say. Booking was easy (thanks Sammy for answering all my questions) and the event space proposal provided prior to booking was very helpful. I had to make some changes prior to the party and they were very accommodating. The point of contact for the day of, Chay, sent me additional info (i.e bathroom code) and checked in with me before/after the party and Toni, who opened/closed with us, was the sweetest. As for the space itself, it is super aesthetic! The walls are pink with shelves filled with ceramics and there are plants hugging the corners of the room and adorning the hanging fixture above the bar area. We opted to add on the lace table cloth for the tables and my cousin decorated them with flowers and candles...loved it! My favorite part of the venue would be the bar area, which I utilized as a dessert station/mimosa bar. With my party size, I had enough room to fit 4 cocktail tables we got from a rental company and also had space dedicated to taking photos with my guests. I think this is the perfect event space for a small party (30 people); it's definitely an unexpected gem nestled in the busy streets of DTSJ. Parking wasn't an issue for my guests and a Whole Foods is conveniently located right across in case you need last minute items. I would highly recommend booking here!
