I almost feel bad writing this review but actually, no I don't. I messaged this company in regards to pricing for 24/7, uniformed, armed (exposed) coverage at a home. I informed them that I have a security company in LA and I need to sub out this work as it is too far from LA. I provided every pertinent detail in my quote request and was asked to call Rajesh to "discuss the project". I called and Rajesh came across as though he had no idea who I was or why I was calling. After the confusion subsided he proceeded to ask me questions about the project that I had already provided answers to in my message. He then asked me why armed security was needed (info already given in the quote message) then it was "who are we protecting" (info in message -"non celebrity/non famous") then "what is in the house" and the final WTF question was "when do we start"? I let Rajesh know that I needed a quote first and his reply was......"we charge anywhere from $40/hr to $150/hr". Now I've been in the security business for close to 20 years and would be looked at as if I was insane if I ever quoted a perspective client $150/hr for a guard with an exposed permit. Guards with exposed firearm permits get paid $19-$25/hr depending on the location of the work and scope of the project. I laughed in disbelief and told Rajesh that "in all my years in business there is no company I have ever come across that would have the balls to pitch $150/hour for an armed EXPOSED weapon guard". The average cost for an armed off duty officer in LA or NY (I have an office in both) is $90-$100 / hour. For former special forces guys we quote $140/$150 hr. That's guys that were SEALs or Recon, Delta etc. After explaining that his prices were out of whack he replies "maybe you are in the wrong business". Well maybe I'm in the business of treating potential customers with respect and not ripping people off. Good luck with your "business" pal.
