Martinous Rugs came with three men in their company truck on time. They slid the carpets out from under the heavy furniture to roll them. One rug was an embarrassment, a very inexpensive wool rug that had both pet damage and moths. I asked them to cut out the damage and make a runner out of the good section that was left. This required binding of the raw edges, which they did a good job on. Sam, the owners son, directed the two workers making sure that they were careful with my antique furniture. When they returned my rugs and reinstalled them, Sam was very careful to be sure to rotate them to keep sun damage to a minimum. I was very pleased and will use Martinous again.

Doing business with this family-owned business is a testament to how working with a small business is so much easier than dealing with a big-box business. Sherry and her two sons, Sam and Peter, were personable, attentive, polite and eager to please.Sam videotaped their talented traditional rug specialist sewing threadbare edges, a handcrafted art that transcends modern machinery. They went the extra mile and repaired thread-bare edges , a complimentary service we didn't request!Martinous Rugs did a beautiful job cleaning our 40 year-old Tabriz rug. Martinous Rugs provided meticulous and expert care for our treasured antique rugs. They explained the history of the rugs--where made and when--and were able to mend the spots that needed care.
