About Marco Polo Laundry
Marco Polo Laundry is a full-service laundry facility that caters to both commercial and residential needs. It operates as a private members-only establishment, with a $5 fee for laundry cards. The laundromat is committed to providing a clean and safe environment, especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. The reviews of Marco Polo Laundry present a mixed experience. On one hand, a customer was pleased with the friendly staff and the reasonable pricing compared to a nearby laundromat. They expressed their intention to return as a repeat customer. On the other hand, another customer had a more frustrating experience. They dropped off a comforter and shams for washing on a Sunday afternoon, and were told it would be ready before the end of the day. However, after waiting for 3.5 hours, they never received a call to pick up their order. When they called the laundromat, no one answered, and upon their arrival, the staff member was unaware of their order. The customer had to point out their items to have them completed, leading to an additional 20-minute wait. In total, they waited 4 hours for their order to be ready. The customer was disappointed that the estimated time given for their order was not communicated effectively to the staff, and that the management did not seem to be actively managing the workflow and communicating with employees. They felt that the convenience they had paid for was compromised by the lack of organization and communication. Despite the well-maintained facility, this customer's first impression of Marco Polo Laundry was negatively impacted by the poor handling of their order. They expressed a desire for the management to improve their communication and organization to provide a better customer experience.
Laundry day. No clean clothes, so let's get them washed. Lo Behold, my apartment complex washer is flooded and out of service! Initiate panic mode!! I immediately headed here because it's around the corner from my house, but discovered it was a membership based Laundromat. However, if you ask for a guest pass, they will grant you access. Just ring the doorbell. Eunice answered the door and I explained my situation. She was very polite, super chill, and explained and showed how they operate. She even let me leave my bike by the door inside, which I didn't expect. I was grateful for that because I didn't think of bringing my lock. Just be polite and respectful of their...read full review
UPDATE:
After writing the review below, I read through previous reviews and realized this business really does not want any walk-in business. I suggest you go elsewhere, as all low Google reviewers are told to do so with a sarcastic "bye" from the owner. Despite my 5-star review, I shall not return and find a typical laundrymat.
REVIEW
This laundrymat was the most interesting and (by-far) the cleanest and best maintained laundromat I have I have ever done business with. But sadly, I must say it started off awkwardly.
When I arrived, I carried a laundry basket back and forth, looking for the entrance. I found this place because of Google search and had...read full review
We dropped off our comforter and shams to be washed at 12:30pm on a quiet Sunday and were told that it will be for sure done BEFORE end of day. I think any reasonable person would think that a small order like this would be reasonably done by 4:00pm when the place closes at 6:00pm. After running errands on this side of town and killing time for 3.5, hours, we never got a phone call to pick up our order. We ended up calling and no one picked up so we had to drive here instead just to hear that the worker DIDN'T KNOW where our order was. If we didn't point out our items that needed be resumed, we would have waited until end of day since the workers' boss never informed...read full review
