Coming to Lokahi Acupuncture with Andrea has been the best part of my selfcare journey. I have done acupuncture in the past but I did not feel any benefits from it. I have been undergoing a lot of stress, so I got the courage to try it again. I called the office and Geniene (the receptionist sorry if I misspelled her name) helped me. She is so welcoming and made me feel comfortable on making my first appointment. I chose to work with Andrea as my practitioner for her extensive background that covers what I was looking to work on. Wonderful experience. Melissa (the acupuncturist) took time to understand my issues, and performed a thorough assessment including examining my tongue, pulse, and performing abdominal palpations. Then Melissa explained what she felt was wrong, what she was going to do, and how it would help. And she was right! After my first treatment I can honestly say my symptoms improved, and I am very grateful for that. I am looking forward to my next appointment!
