I’ve been going to James Hair Design for the past 2 years. James does a really great job on Asian male hair. The aunties here usually do an okay job, but sometimes they do really poorly. Sometimes they don’t cut it enough, other times it looks nothing like the picture I show. This past time I went she somehow misinterpreted “a little bit shorter on the sides” and the picture to mean 0 fade and cut half my head bald, and it’s very uneven…
That said, I would still recommend this place for the reasonable prices. I would highly recommend asking for James when you come, even if it means waiting a little longer. In my opinion it’s just not worth the gamble...read full review
I've been going here for the past 6 years and I've never been disappointed with my haircut. I always request James by making an appointment. James is very friendly and above all very skilled at his trade. James always remembers how I like my haircut and double checks with me before he starts. James rocks!
For the price point, James Hair Design is a great place for quick and affordable haircuts! I went here for some long layers and one-inch off my hair. The stylist was able to cut my hair within 10 minutes and ensured all my split ends were cut. My hair felt very healthy after the cut. I love that I am able to just walk in and get a cut right then and there. Everyone is friendly here. :)
