A fantastic experience from the beginning to the and beyond. From the initial estimate and survey, professional proposal which caught details not mentioned by other roofing companies, to working with the same dedicated on-site project manager throughout the process who surveyed the project and corrected the solar panel installer's installation (I think roofers should attach solar panels after this experience), to dealing with hiccups along the way and staying on schedule and on budget. We have rental properties, and have had to put on new roofs in the past, from other companies. Recently we had to replace an old shake roof with composite. Normally the composite roof will make the home hotter in the Summer. But, Eastman roofing has an option in mounting the roof so that it increases the ventilation, which actually made the new roof cooler. Our renters are so happy with the outcome. Finding Eastman Roofing was a real plus. The crews are highly trained. They walk you through the process and give you a detailed print out of all the factors involved. I had an issue w/hog valley (cricket) producing leakage at roof-to- wall interface. I had several quotes recommending complete tear off to partial re-roof. Danny, estimator, noticed I had lots of roof penetrations, i.e. 24 rail-mounted solar panels on flashed footings. I did not want to remove solar system if roof area could be made waterproof. I have 8 years remaining on solar panel lease & Danny estimated 6 years on remaining roof, but there are 2 roof layers. He recommended waterproof membrane underlayment first to see if this would stop water @wall.
