Went for a preventative annual's doctor's visit and was charged $1.2k for routine labs, which has never occurred before in my prior doctor's visits.. Have to sort it out with insurance and billing now.
Dr visit itself was fine but was charged $500+ for an annual physical (something about how talking about family history counts as a problem visit??) - need to call billing and insurance to sort it out now ...
For some reason this UCSF clinic is only seeing patients that live in San Francisco or San Mateo County. Wasted my time calling them multiple times today to finally get through to someone and be turned away. They could easily put that information on their website right along with the clinic phone numbers.
