This review is for the braiding appointment I completed at the conveniently located The District Barbershop, with Esterlina.After searching for the best quality men's braids shop I could and came across Esterlina! I do try my best to thoroughly read through each review before deciding to proceed forward with an appointment, but at the end of the day Esterlina's clear and expedient communication made me choose her.Esterlina is awesome and easy to talk to. When I sat down in the chair and told her the braid style I wanted, with a few pictures I found of similar styles, she got right to work on my hair. Today was my first time at The District Barbers. A gentleman who I think was the owner acknowledged me and asked who was I here to see. I told him the barbers name ( Andy ) and he assured me that he will be in soon. Andy was very well spoken and knew exactly what he was doing. I was there for a beard trim only. Andy asked me what wanted and after I explained to him what I wanted, he knocked it out of the ballpark! I was VERY impressed with how my beard came out. The shop was well lit and very clean. The staff was also friendly and polite. I'll definitely be back for my beard trim and will definitely refer my friends to this shop. Keep up the good work!!!!

Alaska does an amazing job. I've gone to her twice now for a haircut. I've been looking for someone to cut my hair for years, and it always ends up okay. But love how my hair looks after going to Alaska. She is so calm and relaxing, I almost fall asleep during my haircut.
