I can't say enough about this comfortable, clean, inviting, personable home. Their body of artwork is amazing, each piece more moving than the last. I would have loved to linger and examine each one, but my massage awaits. Geffen emailed me very clear instructions as to what to expect when I approached their home, that right away pulled me in, as the direct approach is the best. I immediately felt comfortable as Geffen greeted me, we chatted a bit about my history, and then proceeded to a room that had an amazing 4' salt water fish tank (good feng shui). Geffen then gently guided me through a series of movements to alleviate the aches and pains from a car accident. Her instructions were clear and concise, her pressure was strong but yet gentle. I can feel myself healing and am confident that at the end of our 6 weeks session, I will be good as new. . . . well almost, given my age.

I've had several massages over the years by Peter, introduced to me by a friend who went to him with disk problems. I thank heavens I found him. Peter's educated me about his specialty: orthopedic massage therapy, which is quite different from other massage modalities I've tried and enjoyed over the years, but found less helpful in healing recurring injuries. Of course Peter has the intuitive touch of many good massage therapists, but - and here's the critical difference - he also has an incredible depth of knowledge of not just anatomy and an understanding of how the body works. He's an amazing diagnostician, analyzes the pain/issue, in my case, one time a neck pain and another time an upper back pain. He doesn't just massage sore muscles, but determines the CAUSE of the problem, and determines simple and effective treatment. I've learned I don't need to suffer through those outdated and painful so-called "deep tissue" massages, a macho ethic which applies the "no pain, no gain" mentality to massage therapy. Ridiculous and unnecessary, it turns out! Just try one session with Peter the next time something in your body ails you, and be prepared to be amazed.

Peter is very skilled and kind. My yoga teacher referred me to him for a piriformis issue. (Physical therapy was only making it worse) He is a specialist and worked with me for optimum healing. After the first session, I noticed a remarkable difference in my movement, balance, and flexibility. His services have been invaluable.
