I found Sara Jennings Photography through Yelp and booked her for both a maternity and newborn shoot. I can't say enough good things about working with Sara! She made my husband and I feel SO comfortable as soon as we met her at our maternity shoot and we were blown away by the quality of her photos. Our newborn shoot was on another level entirely - Sara again was a joy to work with and was so good with our 2 week old baby to the point where our baby didn't cry once during the 3+ hour shoot! Sara knew we're baseball fans and suggested taking some spectacular photos of us and our baby outside Oracle Park. She even included our 2 cats in our family photos... read full review

Everything about having a baby during COVID was a go with the flow adventure - between medical advice, hospital recommendations and business policies ... it was hard to plan ahead. When we got close to welcoming our son, I started looking at newborn photographers and the different sessions that were being offered given restrictions. I really wanted a more classic and natural feeling to the photos, something that we could look back on in 25 years and they would still be beautiful (and not have my then 25 year old question fashion choices or a trendy photo theme). Sara is a natural photographer. She has taken many photos of our kids and our family, and they are all beautiful-- but that's not the best reason to hire her. You should hire her because she is tuned into her subjects' emotions, and she's incredibly sensitive to those emotions.I'm not one of those gorgeous San Francisco moms who looks like she stepped out of a yoga class and a hair salon simultaneously. I never got my "pre-baby body" back (not that it was so great to start with), I don't wear makeup, and my legs are stubbly at best, wooly at worst. But the pictures that Sara took of me with my husband and kids made me feel beautiful.... read full review
