Complete scam. Stay away unless you want to pay $300 for jewelry that is absolute junk...and let guess there will be a "canned" response telling me to contact customer service which offers zero help.
I'd like to begin with saying the lady working seemed extremely nice at the beginning, the service seemed nice, welcoming, and intimate. There was a pretty good selection to see the pearls, and the value of the product didn't seem too bad, but they try to get you to spend way more money then said. The price isn't an issue if the material and product matched the price tag. When turning down the poor offer that was given to me, she was rude, pushy, critical, and even tried shaming me for not wanting to spend 500 dollars on gold that isn't even worth the price. The workers were giving each other looks while also laughing, and giggling, I believe this place shouldn't be open to the public especially with workers like those.
Go see Lynn. She loves her job. She made sure she told us how to care for our pearls & to wait until the next day to wear them. Amy let me pick oysters to get pearls out of and she opened them. They were both beautiful, but 1 was really large. It was exciting opening oysters with possible pearls in them. It was fun look at the different settings each 1 could be placed on to make a piece of jewelry. Is it touristy? Sure. But go see them. It's fun doing. Lllllll both parts: finding a possible Pearl & building a necklace, or ring with the pearls you've found. Lynn really enjoys making beautiful things & helping her customers. Lynn will catch up soon.
