Customers can call for an upfront flat rate or visit their kiosk located inside the Safeway on King St. to copy keys. The service is expensive but effective, with customers usually leaving with a key in minutes. KeyMe is the only place many have been able to copy rare keys, which is why it's rated 5 stars. However, some customers have experienced slow shipping speeds and additional shipping costs, which they felt were not entirely fair. The service is expensive, but it works! You can usually leave with a key ready in minutes. This is the only place I've ever been able to copy rare keys. That's why it's rated 5 stars.
Slow shipping speed. They claim 3 to 5 business days but it’s shipped from Kentucky. As other reviewers have mentioned, they use DHL. Just use USPS first class the whole way which is 2 to 3 days? Skimming costs on shipping is not fair. I had to pay for shipping so give us premium shipping. The wait, cost $20+, hopefully it works, is probably not completely worth it in the end. Key did work great.
Great service. I just wish that buying the RDIF stickers were delivered through the kiosk right away instead of having it shipped and delivered a week later. Also just a suggestion, the KeyMe logo could be 50% smaller.
