Ken & Mary Hair Salon

First off, I have NOT had my hair cut at this salon, Yet! I called to ask some questions, and possibly make an appointment. Ken answered the phone he was rude and he rushed through the phone call. I did make an appointment for 3:00 PM today Sunday, July 3, 2022, and he didn't ask for my name. Hope this isn't a mistake, the guy who has been doing my hair for years really F'd it up so now it has to be straightened out. Might be better or Might be worse! I'll updated this after the appointment!

Went to Mary for a wash, cut & blow dry. She came highly recommended by a former retired hairdresser who herself was talented & very particular in who cut her hair. She herself had been going to Ken & Mary & having Mary cut her hair for the past 8 years. My own hairdresser had given up hairdressing after the pandemic. I was very pleased with my cut & received compliments. I spoke limited Cantonese but we were able to communicate & I got what I wanted. The price of $40 (not including tip) I thought was very reasonable.

I've been coming here for 4 years and 10 kicks ass. Don't believe all the whiny hype and the one star reviews. For a simple haircut you won't do wrong English is definitely second language here but I've been able to speak with them in basic English and they understand fine.
