Appointments are generally easy to self schedule. I did walk in flu/covid shot with minimal wait in November. Recommend making an appt for lab though because there always seems to be a decent wait at this location.
I think the receptionist here might be challenged and not fit for the job. I called to a specific department asking when can I reorder supply for my condition. The receptionist asked me how long have you had it? Me: I don't remember can you check the system? receptionist: How long have you had it for? Me: I really dont remember look can you tell me or not? receptionist: That is why i am asking you how long you had it for? Me: hung up and here giving kaiser a bad review. please hire competent receptionists, it is a simple question. This is not rocket science.
Very smooth check in, wait time and care. Didn't feel rushed but appointment was quick. Driving around Mission Bay is daunting. I wish Kaiser would consider bring back shuttles or teaming up with UCSF.
