A lot has changed since I lived in The Fillmore and was a regular client. The lighting and ambience in the communal space is softer, relaxing, well laid out, comfortable, soothing. Temperatures of all the sauna, steam, and pool spaces was perfect.
Used a gift certificate for 50-minute shiatsu massage. Masseuse was highly skilled, attentive, and worked well with my stiff body.
As the young people say these days, 10/10.
Pleasantly surprised by this place! Heads up: you can’t just walk in or pay for a same-day or next-day ticket online. Communal bath slots book out at least a week in advance. I got lucky and snagged a last-minute spot the day before.
Went in Friday at 10:30am and was surprised how busy it got within a few hours. That said, people are constantly rotating through the baths and sauna, so even when it looks full there are open chairs and usually a sauna room or bath with less people.
A few things worth knowing:

My husband and I loved going to this spa today. It is the best spa we have ever been too by far! The relaxation, the quiet, the amenities, perfection! It is like escaping to a meditation zone and our massages were also wonderful done by Liz and Danielle! Everyone who works here was lovely. I wish every spa was like this one :-)
