Hands down the best painters I have ever worked with. Heather and French painted my condo, which had been purchased in pretty bad shape, just over a year ago. I am still am amazed at what an impeccable job they did under an insanely tight deadline - thanks to Jill and Francisco. They are incredibly responsive, super direct (Alison I still thank you to this day for coaching me to find demo guys and pointing to what needed to be removed - you were right) and highly dependable. When my job was finished Jill said they would stick with me after the job if I ever needed anything. Months later I needed their help with a water leak and touch ups - and voila they were back in and out in no time. I will undoubtedly be calling them again. Highly recommend.

This was the second job we've hired Heather and French to do. They are professional, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. The prep and painting is meticulously executed and the results are beautiful. Beyond that, they finished on time and below their bid. We couldn't be more delighted. Highly recommended!

I was probably 2-3 years overdue to paint the exterior of my house in San Francisco's Parkside District, where I'm close enough to the ocean to get the damaging effects of the fog, salt air, and wind. My biggest concern was selecting a painting company that could do an excellent job on the prep work that was needed (I could see chipping paint, and was concerned about some possible dry rot as well). I knew if thorough prep work was done, my new paint job would last for a very long time. My friend who is a GC recommended Heather & French, and I am SO glad to have hired them!!! They are very knowledgeable, thorough, and meticulous in their work, which I really appreciated. They have a professional, experienced and conscientious crew who kept the job site clean at the end of each day and they do not use subcontractors. I also appreciated the constant communication from the onsite supervisor and from the owners, Alison and Jill regarding any timing issues and updating me on progress (and answering my many questions). They were also flexible and accommodating in working around an unusual set-up at my house where they had to go through my tenant's room to reach the back of the house, and scheduled the work in a way that they didn't go through until after a certain time. H&F's estimate will not be the lowest out there, but if you are like me and want the best possible job knowing it will be done right and last longer, then you should hire H&F without delay! I will add that they will also not "nickel & dime" you - the quoted estimate included color consultation, painting 4 base & 4 trim colors for me to consider, power-washing my patio as a bonus while doing the house, and taking care of a few minor repairs that came up during the job (some minor dry rot, replacing some hand railing screws, and repairing a couple loose boards on a balcony). The final price came in exactly as estimated and I am so pleased with the final outcome!
