I’m an ex-athlete that still plays lots of sports and am very active in my free time. I never quite learned the value of stretching before exercise and as I get older, I’m learning the hard way.
Whenever I’m hurt, GGPT is the first call. I’ve come in for a tweaked neck, strained glute, and some other stuff I’ve gotten as a result of lifting/playing sports without stretching.
I haven’t tried any other PTs in SF, but that’s because I’ve never needed to. Been coming here about 3 years for short stints as needed. They are consistently very good at their jobs and they’re genuinely very kind people. Highly recommend this... read full review

The team here is wonderful! I had been to three other physical therapy offices for several rounds of PT after having surgery to repair the torn ligaments in my shoulder. They all failed to complete my healing and help me find my full mobility again. The last place even just dismissed me at the end, saying that was all that could be done and to just go get a cortisone shot. They were wrong. With the help of Jona, and also Tim, my shoulder is making a full recovery. It's taken over a year this time, but they never gave up on me and my healing. I am already able to be more active, and I will soon be able to participate in activities, like tennis, that I thought were... read full review

I visited Golden Gate Physical therapy for months to help me manage a hip joint issue that was generating a lot of pain and discomfort. The support and guidance provided was outstanding and I have been able to completely recover and also learn how to manage the issue if it had to re-present itself. Patty, my Therapist, was amazing, patient and kind throughout the process and helped me adjust my therapy based on my time availability and other health related issues, making it easy and simple while very effective. Other staff was also very helpful, kind and efficient. I would definitely return if I shall even have the need again in the future!
