About Fung Soong
Fung Soong offers full body massages, with a focus on back, torso, and neck. The masseurs use strong techniques, which may cause pain afterwards. Leg massage is not included in the full body massage, and requires a separate booking. Customers appreciate the low base prices, and many believe it is the best massage of this kind in the Bay Area, offering excellent value. The staff is attentive and skilled, particularly the gentleman masseur, who provides effective techniques and excellent service. The atmosphere is calm and serene, and the employees are seen as pros. Customers feel the massages are worth every penny, with some noting that tipping 20% is a way to show appreciation for the effort put in by the masseuses.
There is a woman, she seems to be running the spot, and she is a complete GEM! She knows her stuff, gave the perfect amount of pressure while keeping it relaxing. Also so kind and considerate, always smiling, laughing with you. It was a really lovely experience, I left feeling great, reasonable price. Bring cash to tip
Excellent chair massage here. It is *very* intense (as I personally think a useful massage should be); the gentleman did knot work the whole time. I was on the verge of tears, it hurt so good. Price was $38 for 30 min; I tipped to make it $50 because it was that good and I appreciate how difficult his job is! I thought the studio was clean and aesthetic; it doesn’t look like the older photos on here anymore.
This is an authentic Chinese massage parlor like you would find one in mainland China. The staff knows what they are doing. The prices are fair, and tipping is customary in the US.
I strongly oppose some of the other reviews here.
