We recently hired EcoSmart Roofer to clean and re-seal our flat roof (residential single-family home in the Portola/Excelsior area). We had been experiencing some behind-the-wall leaks from our aging roof after heavy rains. Erast performed the inspection and suggested two choices: a new roof, or a less-expensive clean and re-seal option. We chose to have EcoSmart pressure-wash and seal our roof, including resealing connections to our existing solar installation and repair of some areas of flashing. His team was efficient, effective, polite, and left everything on the site clean. It's not a technically a "new roof," but I'm hard to pressed to think of it as being much different than one. It's shiny, white, and water just sheets off of the surface. We can't totally confirm yet if the leaks have been resolved until the next rainy season, but it looks great! Erast has been responsive and thorough in his communication via email and in person, and I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone needing quality roof work done.
