Chris is an excellent barber - great eye for details, precise with his scissors and trimmer, and a terrific conversationalist (he remembered a conversation we had over 5 months ago and picked it back up like it happened yesterday!). His prices are reasonable (this ain't Supercuts!) and the ambience is spot on.

Chris is among the best in the business. I'm always happy with the outcome, and Chris always listens to what his clients want and offers that.Update after 7 years:After going here continuously for 7+ years, I still highly recommend!

It's difficult finding great barbers in SF, so stumbling upon this one was a gem. The shop is neat and maintained. Conversations that I had with my barber were great. All around, the barbershop had a good, down-to-earth vibe which I appreciate. All the barbers seem to be pro's in their line of work. It just got to be out of price range for a working, college student like me. If you can afford a $60 haircut, I say go for it! You won't find a better barbershop anywhere else in the city! No cap.
