My first time getting my nails done here, I originally wanted acrylics but Annie told me about gel extensions which I ended up getting and love!! Looks so much more natural than your thick fake acrylics. I paid $80 for a full set which I think is super reasonable ($70 for a full set, she did the cat eye for free! And $10 for the design) and pedicure was $35. She has a cute little shop on sutter and worked alone. Definitely coming back!
I rarely write reviews but I had to for Doan's Nails. I had a regular manicure and am very tough on my hands/nails. Usually if I don't get gel, they chip within 1-3 days. Its been a week and a day and they haven't chipped!! I walked in without an appointment with a friend and we weren't in a rush so no UV was used either - which to me is a plus!
Annie is the absolute best in Sf! I've been visiting her cozy salon in Nob hill for over two years and after moving out of the neighborhood I knew I'd keep coming back. We've done so many fun designs and she is always happy to switch up the shape or style. I love the hard gel, it's durable and natural looking. My friends love her too and are always asking who does my nails. Can't say enough good things! I recommend calling ahead and there is a bus stop right out front.
