We had an appointment scheduled, and sent in inspo pictures before hand. Parking there was a little tricky because it is street parking. I feel that everything went very well. Definitely have to be prepared to spend some time. We had our nails done by Laysa and Honomi and they both did an incredible job. We communicated what we liked, nail lengths, extensions, color, type of manicure before we started and once we decided and we got started. Cuticles and prep was done cleanly which I loved. I love dat nail salon, it's my go to every time. Kat the owner, is always ensuring my service is up to satisfaction and so kind. All the nail techs do the same. The vibe is calm and quiet which is a nice break, and again they always ensure you're happy with your nails! I recommend them to all my friends I've never had a bad experience- and my nails last so long. I typically get nail art and I'm always super impressed how good they turn out. They don't typically do walk ins because they are that booked and busy!
I have been going to DAT since living in SF for Japanese builder gel and have been very happy with their service. Definitely make an appointment - I haven't tried to walk-in, but they are usually pretty booked up from what I can see. Kat, the owner, is very meticulous and makes sure your nails come out looking great! I would also highlight that nail art is great here and super reasonably priced. Definitely recommend!
