I met Tom DeWitt Ditto, one of the co-founders of Canyon Cinema, today while we were both looking for a particular brand of yogurt at Stop N Shop - He is a colorful storyteller and related his life story to me in 3 hours. He passionately spoke about this company without naming it to me. I am a student at LA Film School, which he didn't know until the end of our conversation; I asked him if I could write a paper about him for one of my courses - he agreed. During my research, I uncovered the name of his production company - Canyon Cinema. I see he is still very much involved with Canyon Cinema. This company and the work it represents is definitely a feather in his cap!
