I'd recommend David. Great guy, knows what he's doing. Highly skilled and personable. Immaculate station. However barbershop does not seem to be well managed. Front desk area has never been fixed from unfortunate car damage 9 months ago. Most stations/barbers don't seem to know how to use a broom, frankly embarrassing. Standards have definitely slipped recently. Appears owner is not providing needed oversight.
We appreciated that the owner spending time writing to us, therefore, my boyfriend will definitely coming back to your barbershop again. Your barbershop is pristine and the barbers are very polite. He feel refreshed and very happy with how it looks after getting a haircut. Thank you again and this review are for the rest of the barbers that work in your barbershop.
I can't seem to keep a barber for long. Seems like they are always moving to another location or dropping out of society. I usually try to stick with one of the 398 barbers on the west side of San Clemente, but I got tired of hopping around. I wanted someone that could cut my hair and then repeat it. So, I decided to try V's all the way east in Talega, an area I don't usually frequent. I went on Yelp and saw good ratings for V's and one barber mentioned quite often, Aubrey. I was excited since they have online booking and I really prefer that as if I have to call in or walk in, I usually drag my feet until my hair looks like Shaggy from Scooby-Doo. Not a good look for a sixty something year old man, IMHO. With online appts, I tend to schedule out when I want some head-scaping and book a date and time. This way I keep more to a reasonable timeline of cuts. Hey, works for me so please keep your comments to yourself. I do have to admit, it might be kinda fun (or miserable) to be able to leave comments or feedback on people's Yelp reviews. Anyway, I made my first appointment with Aubrey in February 2025 and she was ready for me when I arrived. Nice clean shop with about 8 chairs, individual TVs and smelled like a barber shop. All good so far. Aubrey welcomed me and asked me if I wanted anything to drink. I declined, but it was a nice offer. Aubrey then draped me with the barber cape and started asking what I wanted done with my mop of hair. My response is always the same, 3mm on the side and a little longer than my pudgy fingers on top, and I demonstrated with my fat fingers so she understood. The cut was going well and Aubrey really took her time and checked and re-checked her work. When she was done, she asked me to check the length on top and it was just a little bit longer than I wanted so she went back to work. Voilà, we were done with the haircut. Aubrey then grabbed a warm, moist towel and draped that over my head and face. I assumed she was tired at looking at my ugly mug, but then she started massaging my neck with some sort of vibrating thingy and it felt great. Some more massaging of my head and that step was done. Adding a little "product" to my hair to complete the best haircut I have had in years. (why's it called product and why do I feel emasculated when I type it?) Fast forward to last week and I made an appointment with Aubrey and went in again. Another great haircut for the books. Thanks Aubrey, I'll be back in 5 weeks. Please stick around! Go. Get All You Hairs Cut. HAVE FUN!
