Rod's Tree service did an amazing job on my hugely overgrown 20 year old pepper tree, my olive trees, my strawberry trees, mellalucas, and my queen palms. Richard came very quickly to give me a quote. I was delighted to learn that he is the 3rd generation of this business, which was founded by his grandfather. Richard studied Forestery at Cal State Humboldt (now Cal Poly Humboldt I believe). He gave me a very fair quote and we scheduled the service (a month or so out, because they are so good and busy!). We were getting notices from our HOA about our tree overgrowth on the side of our house and we knew our trees needed some serious pruning and trimming. We called Rod's Tree Service to help us with our overgrowth issue, as well as attend to our olive trees in the front of our home that had lost their shape and needed a trim.We had the best experience with Alex and his very professional team. Not only was Alex extremely communicative, he personally came out to give a quote and came to the job site the day of to ensure everything went well and that expectations were met.
