As they aren't currently open for retail, I made a private appointment with Matt to see the roastery and was amazed at the scope of the facility and what's in the works. I had the BEST time. Matt and Vance gave a joyous and insightful tour of the roastery/equipment they use and are clearly very knowledgable about both their beans and process. I can't recommend visiting the roastery and trying their delicious brews enough. I truly hope they start doing classes/workshops because the roastery is so fun and their coffee needs to be tasted by everyone.

I experienced the most delicious cold brew coffee tasting at Silicon Valley Coffee. Matt, passionate proprietor and knowledgeable wizard of coffee roasting, has garnered a roasting reputation of his own with a meticulous and fanatical approach to production. Combining the use of a traditional roaster with computer monitored technology, you end up with the perfect roast accurately dialed in to your expectations and taste buds. Definitely call ahead for a worthwhile tour and get ready to learn about the cold brew process and the technicalities of coffee roasting. Keep in mind this is not a retail location but if interested in a tour and learning more about their small batch artisian coffee, inquiry for events or supplier information call 650-750-Brew. I was whisked away to my happy place during our heavenly tasting, I forgot to take a photo before it was gone. Delightful!
