Thank you FirstLight Home Care of the Peninsula. My mother adores the care giver, Roseanna. When we visit, Roseanna is busy and professional, and the proof is in how clean the house is and what my mother says on Roseanna's days off. Added bonus are management. Both the previous and current directors - were/are professional, responsive, and kind. The current director, Jules San Mateo, and another cg, Eduardo, helped the family seamlessly resolve a dilemma that involved extra cg hours and driving, without much notice! This is a company that wants to help and will follow through.

My husband got into a skiing accident which required surgery. His recovery in the first month was expected to be particularly tough, requiring a lot of assistance. We decided to get a caregiver for that month and could not have asked for better care than what we received from Firstlight. Michele, our caregiver was always on time and very professional. She helped my husband with his meals, doctor's/physical therapy visits and helped him exercise and later ice his injury. Julie who is a coordinator at Firstlight stopped by regular, checking in on whether the care was going OK and helped me ensure that we had a single caregiver throughout.I believe the help was critical...read full review

First time using a home caregiver. The team of Julie San Mateo (care manager) and Nerissa Jenkins (caregiver) has been great. Mom didn't want an outside caregiver, but now she asks when Nerissa is coming again.
