About Inland Sleep Center
Inland Sleep Center, established in 1991, provides a continuum of care for sleep disorders like OSA through integrated diagnostic and treatment services, including home sleep testing. Located at St. Bernardine’s Medical Outpatient Center in San Bernardino, it is staffed with physicians certified by the American Board of Sleep Medicine. The facility itself is secure, with a locked gate for overnight patient vehicles, and is described as quaint, clean, well-equipped, and very basic but adequate. Patients report very pleasant experiences, noting the staff as friendly, helpful, professional, warm, knowledgeable, and exceptionally attentive. Technicians are responsive and go out of their way to accommodate schedules. They are described as informative, answering all questions enthusiastically and kindly while ensuring patient comfort throughout the night. The monitoring process, though complex, is handled thoroughly. For many, the result is effective treatment, leading to refreshed, uninterrupted sleep for the first time in years, finally addressing issues like snoring and breathing interruptions. The care provided is consistently recommended.
I was there last night. I was a little eerie about going to this facility because of the area it is in but the facility itself was secure and I felt safe. I was greeted by Laura who was absolutely the nicest person. She greeted me at the door and locked the gate where I was able to park my car. She was professional and very informative. The facility was quaint but clean and well equipped. Laura was great!!
My experiences at the Inland sleep center have been very pleasant. Both technicians were friendly and helpful. My second time there, I was helped by Laura, she was very knowledgeable; answered all my questions and made sure that I was comfortable throughout the night. Totally recommend.
I had the good fortune of being scheduled by Christina who was very responsive, professional, and friendly. She went out of her way to accommodate my schedule and travel time to get there from a somewhat remote location.Last night I showed up to the facility, grateful to find a rolling, iron-barred, locking gate securing overnight patient vehicles in the rear lot. I was met at the door by a very warm and friendly sleep specialist, Laura, who first came out to lock the gate and greet me. I was led to my room which was clean and ready. Very, very basic. A clean room, clean bed and pillows, TV, a fan, WiFi and a small table. Not as homey as I expected, but enough. My expectations were silly in retrospect. After all, I was in a lab to be studied and monitored for my benefit, and my needs were adequately met.My specialist/nurse/attendant Laura was just great. Her "bedside manner" was 5-star exceptional. She answered every question I had enthusiastically and kindly. She listened carefully to all my concerns, questions and needs, looking me in the eye and without interruption. Unusually attentive. I really appreciated her.It was an odd but interesting, complex experience to be connected to the monitor and figure out a comfortable position to sleep, but I did get to sleep. In my case, my weight, age, and current health led to my suspected issue: stopping breathing in the middle of the night. Laura was monitoring my sleep, so she immediately awakened me to address my need for a CPAP breathing accessory. The process was quick and thorough, finding a comfortable mask/air breathing accessory that fit me, and then quietly left. I dropped off to sleep easily, and for the first time in a decade or more, I slept through the night with no more lost sleep and bathroom interruptions. I awoke so refreshed that I couldn't believe how great the sleep was. Finally my snoring and choking-myself-awake was fixed, and I got deep sleep cycles. Oh my goodness!Thank you, dear Laura, for your gentle, friendly, knowledgeable care. You were outstanding.
