The truth is, I don't recommend it, they take a long, long time to serve you and they are very clueless, plus the receptionist is always angry, she doesn't talk to you, she yells at you and the office smells bad.
Stay away from this facility. If you're insurance sends you there request a redirect. This office has awful customer service as well as inferior glasses. I've had 3 pairs from here and each pair required multiple fixes. The 2nd pair took over a month, I finally called to check on the status and was told they received my glasses but the bifocals had"smiles" which receptionist said are curved upwards instead of straight, she then told me there's bound to have some issues because they don't use a professional lab they're glasses are made by inmates at the prison. My last pair needed many adjustments because the screws repeatedly loosened making them wide and always falling off. On this pair the nose piece broke off and was cutting into my nose. I called office and couldn't even tell receptionist what I needed because she kept talking over me repeatedly saying Tuesdays and Thursdays only, when I asked her name she hung up on me. I called back and spoke with a Diana who told me they had 1 replacement frame like mine and to come in before 4. When I got there owner was at window and took my glasses saying she could just repair but other lady told her she couldn't because piece was completely broke off. Owner went in back and came out to waiting room about 20 minutes later and said other frame was slightly off and my lenses would have to be shaved to fit. I said that's fine, thank you. She then said a David would have to come and fix after his brother's office closed, again I said that's fine. She came out again about 15 minutes later and said " I'm only getting $22.00 to replace this maybe you should just put some tape over sharp piece. I said no I need frame replaced . She went in back and came out to waiting area again saying " you know David has to come all the way across town just to shave lenses" I said I really appreciate it because I can't wear broke and can't see without them. She said so you're ok with him coming all the way across town just for you I again said I really appreciate. She went in back again. I waited about 25 minutes and know one came in except for other patients. She came out again and said that I had cleaned the lenses wrong and must have used cleaner and my shirt or a cleaning cloth because the lenses looked scratched. She said the only way to properly clean was every morning with soap and water. She said my insurance won't cover the $22.00 and if I want them fixed I would have to give her $80.00 for the frame. I told her no my insurance would cover it. She said no they won't and I needed to pay her the $80.00. At this point I was frustrated and said just give me my glasses and I'll call my insurance on Monday and tell them what was going on and ask to seek a different optometrist. She said " oh so you're going to file a complaint against me, then I'll file one against you for demanding I replace your frame. I said just give me my glasses and I'll handle it with my insurance She then said no, I'm keeping your glasses for proof that they are scratched. I said no, I need them, I am near and far sighted and can't function without them. She said no, I'm keeping them and went in back again. I didn't know what to do so I went out to car and tried to calm down. I then left for home going about 20 mph because I literally couldn't see. When I got home I went straight in room to lay down and broke down crying. This was Friday, today is Sunday and I'm spending my day in the emergency room because I was trying to negotiate my stairs and tripped on step and severely injured my knee. I'm so upset and don't know what to do, I had to Uber to hospital but have Dr's appointments next week for pre-op and can't afford to repeatedly use Uber. Please think twice before going to this optometrist, I wouldn't wish this to happen to someone else.
I visited this location because I had an issue with my eye. I ended up getting glasses but only for them to give me the wrong ones. They did a song and dance on the mix up... Giving me two different reasons. When I went in the first time the girl just handed them to me... No try on no nothing. I told her I couldn't see out of my glasses. A few days later I get a call they gave me the wrong ones. What.... They had lost another man's glasses. They said they sent them back. My husband and I won't be returning to this location!
