If you are looking for pain relief try Dr. Mehrdad Joukar at Acupuncture Health Care. My Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteoarthritis was literally killing me. I was housebound and couldn't do the simplest of things. I had severe pain in all of my joints and really bad headaches. It seems I stayed in bed most of the day and started suffering some depression. If you're concerned about the needles don't be, they are not painful at all. My Rheumatologist at Kaiser referred me to Dr. Joukar, he didn't know what else to do for me. Dr. Joukar is very kind, compassionate, caring, calm and absolutely knows what he is doing. I have never received Acupuncture before, until this year. I was recommended to Dr.Joukar's office. I have a few medical issues that I needed attention too. Dr. Joukar is very experienced, takes his time to explain what he plans to do, expectations and I have been extremely happy with the results. Dr Joukar also has offices in Glendale and West Covina. I strongly recommend Dr. Joukar if your thinking or need acupuncture. My wife Zeny recently also visited Dr. Joukar who has been extremely helpful to her. I had excruciating hives for eight days, and nothing my doctor tried made a dent in the associated burning pain. She suggested I see an acupuncturist. After the first visit with Dr. Joukar, I had results: less swelling and significantly less pain. After two weeks, my symptoms are gone. Dr. Magician (as I call him) is incredibly kind. He explains exactly what he needs from me during each visit and how I need to position my body for the treatment. I cannot stress enough that if you are considering acupuncture, go as quickly as you can to this office and you'll be amazed at the results.
