I've been coming to Don Jose's shop for a couple years now.
I've tried several barbers in town and Jose has shown to be the most consistent in delivering a quality hair cut and great service.
Jose's fades and shear work are some of the best in Salinas. He also works very fast. I usually ask for a taper fade, shear work and a line up. I am usually out in 30 mins.
His staff speaks Spanish too so it is very convenient for the community.

This was our first experience at this barbershop. Lee needed our 4 year old to get cleaned up in time for Easter. We’re from South County and we did not expect the rain. We had breakfast nearby and walked around the corner to find another hair salon we’ve already been to, but the rain started so hard so we found shelter. In front of us across the street was this barbershop. I called the number asking if they accept walk-ins and they booked us for the next 15min. We crossed over and it was the best experience we ever had for a hair cut for our toddler. Very welcoming and friendly and allowed our toddlers to be the terrorizing toddlers. Great barber who is very friendly and does a great job cutting hair. My cousin came in, and he treated him so nice and took care of his haircut, and trimmed his eyebrows. Highly recommended.
