“I would've written this review sooner, but shortly after the work was done, the wife and i went on vacation to Germany including Oktoberfest and just returned a week ago. So I wanted to have a central wall heater in my mom's older house in Salinas replaced with a furnace and duct system that would be more efficient at heating the whole house. I wanted a local licensed contractor to do the work so I looked in the California contractors state license board site and got a list with Salinas addresses. After doing some online research and reviews I narrowed it down to one my plumber recommended and to Felipe's 831Heating. Both came out to the house to see what it would take and both seemed very good. But ultimately Felipe came back with a slightly lower quote so we went with him. We are very happy we did. He and his assistant were very professional, respectful, punctual and helpful. They removed the wall heater, replaced the sheetrock, installed the attic gas furnace, ducts and registers, dedicated electric circuit in just 4 workdays which I felt was a reasonable amount of time. Since the old wall heater didn't really heat a back room well, over the years mold had grown on the walls and Felipe recommended a mold remover product (Mold Armor) that actually worked which was a big help. Bottom line is I highly recommend 831Heating.“

They have also helped with two replacement decks and well as a host of repairs over the last 30+ years. Every member of the crew is well trained. They listen to us and make sure the job is done correctly. We know what we want it to look like or how it should function, and they make it happen. We’ve never had to fix any part that they have worked on, even after all this time!“

“I chose AV builders group for my home remodel process. This is our first step of the renovation (demolition and framing) I felt av groups did a perfect job so I want to give a review and will update the process along the step. I interviewed five renovation teams: Eventually, I decided to choose them. They have fair pricing, I'll definitely recommend them to everyone. Choosing a renovation team is truly a big learning process. We are at our first stage of renovation, framing and demolition. We found many things that needed replacing during the teardown process. For example, decayed or termite-damaged wood, old pipes; as well as installing insulation and reinforcing the foundation. Alberto was able to taking care of this for me. Alberto is also handling things like contractor licenses, worker's comp, and permits. He can clearly explain every detail, each steps, how long it will take, and how each part will be done. Most of the time, they take care of everything, so I don't need to go to the site in person. Every day after work, they also spend about half an hour cleaning up the site thoroughly.“

“My tile contractor ordered my tile from daltile. Initially the invoice had the wrong color but I corrected that and it was passed onto Daltile. Unfortunately a mistake got made and the wrong tile was delivered, easy enough to happen. Daltile reached out the sales rep and realized it was their mistake and they owned it to the point of going to get the tile at one of there warehouses two hours away in order to make it right and keep my job on schedule.
