“I would've written this review sooner, but shortly after the work was done, the wife and i went on vacation to Germany including Oktoberfest and just returned a week ago. So I wanted to have a central wall heater in my mom's older house in Salinas replaced with a furnace and duct system that would be more efficient at heating the whole house. I wanted a local licensed contractor to do the work so I looked in the California contractors state license board site and got a list with Salinas addresses. After doing some online research and reviews I narrowed it down to one my plumber recommended and to Felipe's 831Heating. Both came out to the house to see what it would take and both seemed very good. But ultimately Felipe came back with a slightly lower quote so we went with him. We are very happy we did. He and his assistant were very professional, respectful, punctual and helpful. They removed the wall heater, replaced the sheetrock, installed the attic gas furnace, ducts and registers, dedicated electric circuit in just 4 workdays which I felt was a reasonable amount of time. Since the old wall heater didn't really heat a back room well, over the years mold had grown on the walls and Felipe recommended a mold remover product (Mold Armor) that actually worked which was a big help. Bottom line is I highly recommend 831Heating.”
