About Pajaro Valley Golf Club

Pajaro Valley Golf Club is a golf course located in Royal Oaks, off Highway 1, near the Elkhorn Slough bird sanctuary. It offers a quiet and peaceful golfing experience with gentle rolling hills, suitable for all players. The course is known for its clean air, cool breezes from the Monterey Bay and Pacific Coast, and the variety of birds and wildlife that can be seen. The golf course is highly regarded for its well-maintained condition, although some recent reviews have noted that the fairways were dry and the greens showed brown patches. Despite this, the course has great potential and is praised for its fun, challenging layout and good value compared to more expensive nearby courses. The staff, including Brian, Reilly, and Jack, are recognized for their wonderful attitudes and customer service. The course also offers great views of the ocean and Moss Landing from some of the vistas around the course. While some reviewers mentioned that the roughs can be overgrown, the pace of play remains good, often finishing in under four hours. Overall, Pajaro Valley Golf Club is recommended for its condition, value, and scenic views, making it a great option for families and golfers looking to enjoy the game.

I had the chance to play out at Pajaro Valley and let me tell you, it was in great shape! As the GM of the PGA Tour Superstore I have the opportunity to recommend different course all the time and this one always seems to make the list when someone is looking to play in that area. Every time I get down there it seems like there is some kind of improvement they have done. This time the tee boxes and walkways off of the tee boxes were defined along with tightly mowed fringes, refreshed bunkers and greens that were rolling very true. The price is right to play this fun and challenging course. So if your in the area, this would be a great place to stop and play.

I attended a golf tournament and had the best day. The staff was organized and friendly, they were proactive and patient while helping organize our large group.
The views were beautiful and the course was well kept. When we finished our round, we continued afterwards at the clubhouse where there was a live band!
    5/5 Stars, highly recommend ✅
